Yes. But DEFINITELY have them on a leash! Trails have lots of roots and rocks and no railings or ropes along the edge of the trails. If your dog pulls at his leash I would NOT take him. …
Yes. But DEFINITELY have them on a leash! Trails have lots of roots and rocks and no railings or ropes along the edge of the trails. If your dog pulls at his leash I would NOT take him. A great place to take dogs for a walk in the water is Lake Lure. Lots of creeks to explore.
Planning on going to Elk Falls tomorrow. We have a 3 and 4 year old. Will this be something they will enjoy and is the trail ok for them to walk with us or would it be too dangerous?? T.I.A

A very short easy hike. Just remember the current is swift, especially after a lot of rainfall.
