There is a boat launch and a great deal of lakefront, but no fishing pier; without a boat I would think you would want to be more down by the highway 6 bridge; a recent article in the Waco tribune said the best fishing holes are “the old gravel pits straight across from Midway Park,” he said, adding that he uses shad and worms. He gives each spot 30 minutes to produce before moving on.

There is actually no waterfall there. The waterfall actually belongs to an adjacent house that people assume is part of the park but it's private property.
