Had a very pleasant walk along the shoreline. Loved watching the sailboats and paddleboarders. It is a very popular place and I can see why. Don't forget to get ice cream. Full review by Elaine H

The Memirusk Union on Lake Mendota is a must, as is the Badger Ice Cream Factory
I'm seeing on the website that you have to have a Union membership to buy drinks. Is this true? I just haven't seen it mentioned anywhere else and it seems like that would be a pretty significant limiting factor.

I have bought beer at the terrace several times in the past year and was never turned down. I am not a member.
