Onarga Township is one of twenty-six townships in Iroquois County, Illinois, United States. As of the 2020 census, its population was 1,613 and it contained 625 housing units. According to the 2021 census gazetteer files, Onarga Township has a total area of 48.55 square miles, of which 48.53 square miles is land and 0.02 square miles is water.
