Hi, We're planning a day in Simon town in August and were hoping to use Uber to return to cape town via Chapmans Peak Drive. Is it possible to ask to driver to stop at key viewpoints and just keep the meter running? Is it possible to call for Uber from Simon town to CT?

Hi. I would really appreciate if you could help me with certain information. I am planning to go there on Saturday, any idea how to know if it would be open or not as everywhere its written its abruptly closed. I really don't wanna drive all the way to see a closed sign. Also i was very keen to see a beach. Would there be nice beach on this driveway? I would he coming to kuils river and was wanting to visit kirstenbosch botanical garden on the way before going for chapman peak drive. Do you think its possible keeping time in mind. I know a lot of questions,but new here at Cape town. Would appreciate whatever help possible. If any suggestions of making a change would be glad to see. Thanks

Hi All, Currently planning a trip to Cape Town and will most probably be doing Chapies between 20th and the 25th, and would need some advice : 1 - Better do it in the morning or afternoon ? i want to visit chapeman peak riding a Bicycle or a scotter from cape town is that possible? or too long distance and if is it possible how should i rent this bicycle? Also i heard that chapman is near to boulder beach where penguins exist.. can i visit the both in one day riding bicycle. . specify also if there any other transportation like buses..
