Really not too sure, but I can tell you that during the summer months June-August would be very hot. If you like 100*F and above then you can go. If you are thinking that the fall Sept. - Dec. might be a good time, well I can tell you that their is not too much foliage because it has plenty of rocks very little trees, mainly pines if any. If you like snow then the Winter might be your time, but traveling by car might be a problem if you are not use to it.
