Brewers, White Sox swap Aaron Civale and Andrew Vaughn one day after pitcher's trade request
The Milwaukee Brewers have traded veteran right-hander Aaron Civale and cash considerations to the Chicago White Sox for first baseman Andrew Vaughn. ARLINGTON, Texas — The White Sox acquired right-handed starter Aaron Civale and cash from the Brewers on Friday for first baseman Andrew Vaughn. General manager Chris Getz said the organization had been doing a status check on Civale after learning that he had requested a trade from the Brewers.
Civale asked to be traded after the Brewers bumped him from the rotation in favor of top pitching prospect Jacob Misiorowski.
