Arkansas its school record for largest halftime lead in a 109-35 win over Maryland Eastern Shore on Monday night. John Calipari's Razorbacks (5-1) led 60-15 at the break, tying Arkansas' 45-point advantage at halftime in a 2009 win over Alcorn State.

Arkansas won its fourth consecutive game, the longest win streak since early in the 2022-23 season. Maryland-Eastern Shore (2-7), which was picked to finish seventh out of eight teams in the MEAC preseason poll, remained winless against Division I opponents.

In all of Arkansas' four previous victories this season, stretches of sloppy play have marred solid performances by John Calipari's first team in Fayetteville. That wasn't the case on Monday.

Arkansas' opponent, Maryland-Eastern Shore, came into the game one of the worst teams in D1 college basketball. Kenpom had the Hawks ranked 359th out of 364 teams with a 2-6 overall record. The only two wins came against lower division teams.
