Naturally, there was a parallel between what Washington felt watching his children live out their dreams in the film industry with what Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James must have felt when he took the court for the first time in a professional game last month with his son, Bronny James.

Bronny spent just one season at USC in which he suffered cardiac arrest prior to. He was selected with pick No. 55 by the Lakers in the recent draft. No late second-round pick has brought as much spotlight to one franchise, though Bronny certainly comes from different circumstances.

Move over, Bronny and LeBron James. Scotty Pippen Jr. cemented himself alongside his Hall of Fame father in the NBA record books.
