Bob Dylan has no qualms about Timothée Chalamet's portrayal of him in James Mangold's upcoming A Complete Unknown. "There's a movie about me opening soon called A Complete Unknown (what a title!)," Dylan wrote on social media on Wednesday.

"I remember tearing up" said the actress, who plays Sylvie Russo — a character based on the real-life Suze Rotolo, Dylan's girlfriend and muse during the early '60s — in A Complete Unknown, of the first time she hear Chalamet sing as Dylan.

The upcoming biopic about Bob Dylan, A Complete Unknown, is just weeks away from release, and the "Subterranean Homesick Blues" legend took to X (formerly Twitter) on Wednesday (Dec. 4) to give the film,

“There’s a movie about me opening soon called A Complete Unknown (what a title!),” Dylan said. “Timothee Chalamet is starring in the lead role. Timmy’s a brilliant actor so I’m sure he’s going to be completely believable as me. Or a younger me. Or some other me.”

The typically private musician is confident that the “brilliant” Chalamet is “going to be completely believable as me” in the biopic, which documents Dylan’s rise to fame.

Bob Dylan apparently has yet to see "A Complete Unknown" – can someone over at Searchlight get this man a screener please? – but he expressed faith in the film's star, whom he affectionately calls "Timmy.
