It was a story of too little, too late for Caleb Williams and the Chicago Bears (1-2) during their loss to the Indianapolis Colts (1-2). Playing from behind most of the game, Williams and the Bears offense had to try and fight back after shooting themselves in the foot with three turnovers.

Colts quarterback Anthony Richardson posted a passer rating of 39 — and still managed to win the game. Since the 1970 AFL-NFL merger, the Bears have held an opposing team to a passer rating of 40 or less 99 times.

Rookie quarterback Caleb Williams produced promising numbers in his third career NFL start. They came with a disappointingly familiar result for the Chicago Bears.
