DEN OF THIEVES 3 Already in the Works on the Heels of DEN OF THIEVES 2: PANTERA Success
After topping the box office with its sequel Den of Thieves 2: Pantera, the Den of Thieves series will now continue to a third chapter. Via Variety, we’ve learned that a Den of Thieves 3 movie in the action/crime/heist franchise is currently in the planning stages from Lionsgate Films.

Gerard Butler is expected to return to star and produce via his G-Base banner, which he runs with Alan Siegel. Tucker Tooley Entertainment will produce the next installment in the action-heist franchise as well, after financing and producing the first film and bringing it to Lionsgate and STX. Tucker Tooley will also produce.
Third ‘Den of Thieves’ Movie in Development with Gerard Butler Back in Action
O’Shea Jackson Jr. is also likely to return for the new movie, and Lionsgate is in talks with writer-director Christian Gudegast to oversee it once more.
