ESPARTO, California ( KOVR) -- Authorities say human remains have been found after the Tuesday explosion and fire at a fireworks warehouse in the Northern California community of Esparto.

Yolo County officials confirmed Friday that human remains have been discovered at the site of the Oakdale Fire, a devastating blaze triggered by explosions at a fireworks storage facility Tuesday near Esparto.

On Friday, a Yolo County Sheriff's Office official confirmed to CBS Sacramento that Yolo County Sheriff's Lieutenant Sam Machado lived on the property, with public records showing Machado owns the property.
