First Alert Forecast: Warm weather continues into the weekend, but we could see changes for next week
The hot and mostly dry weather pattern is not going anywhere for at least a couple more days, but we may see our first true cold front next week! Friday should look much like what we saw Thursday with mostly sunny skies and little to no chance of rain.
FIRST ALERT: Stray shower today, first dry September weekend
While the majority of the region will stay dry, just enough lingering moisture will result in a very slim chance of a stray shower by the afternoon and early evening. Rain chances will only reach 20% at best.
First Alert Weather: Wind shift brings in dry air
With shifting winds to the north and then northeast, dry air to the north is being pushed south into the Suncoast. It is not a dramatic push of dry air, but it will be noticeable in the days to come.
