Gabriel opened the scoring in Arsenal's emphatic 5-2 win at West Ham but the Brazil defender's participation might have come at a cost.

Mikel Arteta has explained why Gabriel was taken off at half time during the 5-2 Premier League victory over West Ham. The 26-year-old opened the scoring at London Stadium with his fourth of the season before ending the half in some discomfort after being punched in the head by Lukasz Fabianski which led to the Gunners being awarded a penalty.
