Vols hire Ohio State assistant Michael Hunter to lead cornerbacks
Tennessee Athletics has announced the hiring of Michael Hunter as the Vols new cornerbacks coach. Hunter comes to Rocky Top after spending the last two seasons as the assistant defensive backs coach at Ohio State.
He moved Ian Moore to left tackle, in place of Austin Siereveld, and Josh Padilla to right guard, in place of Gabe VanSickle. Ohio State responded with an 82-yard touchdown drive after halftime and another 75-yard touchdown drive after that.
Carson Beck, who led Georgia to a 24-3 record before transferring to play for the Hurricanes this season, delivered for Miami in the Cotton Bowl on Wednesday night.
