Elevated areas of the mid-Hudson Valley and Catskills saw their first measurable snow of the season after an abnormally dry, warm stretch of weather.

Some much-needed rain amid drought warnings and wildfire risks is coming to the Hudson Valley. Also, there's a possibility of a snow flurry or two.

The National Weather Service says the region will see its first snow of the season, mostly in Sullivan and western Ulster counties.
