LOUISVILLE, Ky. - On the heels of suffered their embarrassing loss at Stanford, the Louisville football program was able put together a much better performance against Pitt, thrashing the Panthers with a 37-9 win in their final home game of the 2024 season.

Pitt has just two games left in the regular season, sitting at 7-3, but the Panthers have a long way to go still. There’s a lot of pride (and expectation still) to play for. It all starts against Louisville.

Louisville still had to figure out if they wanted to respond to the ridiculous loss last week and set themselves up for a potential 8-4 season with wins over Clemson and UK, and Pitt had the opportunity to get their season back on track after the 3-game skid they found themselves in after starting 7-0.
