The Indian stock market is expected to open higher amid mixed global cues. The Sensex and Nifty paused their rally but foreign investors have shifted to net buyers. Analysts recommend a 'buy-on-dips' strategy with key support and resistance levels.

Indian benchmark indices Nifty 50 and Sensex ended the previous trade session in the green. Nifty 50 closed at 24,221.90, while Sensex ended at 80,109.85. Overnight, Wall Street indices ended higher,

HDFC Bank, Bajaj Finance, Reliance and Bharti Airtel were the lead gainers among the Sensex 30; while TCS slipped in Tuesday's early trade.

Indian equity benchmark indices, BSE Sensex and Nifty50, opened in green on Tuesday. While BSE Sensex crossed the 80,300 mark, Nifty50 was just shy of 24,300.

Meanwhile, the NSE Nifty 50 index rose by more than 100 points, or 0.5%, to reach 24,340. “The two-day rally in the market is unlikely to be sustained, as earnings concerns remain a significant headwind.

ONGC, BEL, BPCL, and Shriram Finance were among the top gainers on the Nifty index. JSW Steel, Tech Mahindra, Infosys, Maruti, Bajaj Auto were among the top losers.
