Parvathy, who has also faced isolation for speaking out against injustices in the past, explained her decision to support Nayanthara in an interview.

Actor Parvathy Thiruvothu supported Nayanthara by sharing her three-page open letter against Dhanush earlier this month. She now appreciated Nayanthara for being a self-made woman, and opened up on her decision to stand by her.

A few days ago, Nayanthara posted an open letter to Dhanush in which she called out the latter for not letting her use film footage from his production venture Naanum Rowdy Dhaan, for Netflix India documentary,

Parvathy revealed another important reason for taking a stand for Nayanthara. She said, “I know what it feels like to be unsupported. I have gone through it. I also know how much support can change a person. Thinking in that way, I will always stand for those people, especially if they are women.”

Parvathy came out in support of Nayanthara when she called out her former co-star Dhanush for not letting her use film footage for her documentary.
