Former Seattle Mariners reliever Ryne Stanek signed a one-year deal to return to the New York Mets on Wednesday morning.
Stanek landed with the Mets at last year’s trade deadline after being shipped over from Seattle. With the Mets, he put up a 6.06 ERA with 23 strikeouts in 17 appearances.
