A new wildfire was reported today at 5:30 p.m. in San Diego County. Margarita 2 Fire has been burning on private land. At this time, the containment status is unknown and the cause of the fire remains undetermined.

Juneteenth, a holiday that was mostly celebrated by Black families in the South, commemorates the end of slavery in the United States on June 19, 1865.
