Mikaela Shiffrin suffered an abrasion near her hip and said there was “not really too much cause for concern” after crashing at an Alpine skiing World Cup giant slalom in Killington, Vermont, on Saturday.

American alpine skier Mikaela Shiffrin was stretchered off the course following a crash while competing in the annual Alpine Skiing FIS World Cup 2024/25. Shiffrin, 29, is already the most successful alpine skier of all time.
