He helped produce some of the PlayStation’s earliest hits before moving onto help lead the platform’s powerhouse first-party studios across multiple console generations.

Longtime PlayStation veteran Shuhei Yoshida will leave the company on January 15th, 2025. Having spent over 30 years with Sony, Yoshida has been a vital member of the PlayStation family since its launch in 1993. He served as the President of SIE Worldwide Studios from 2008 through 2019.
