The Brass Tap, a craft beer bar chain with 42 locations in 14 states, plans to open a franchise in Manayunk in December 2023. The bar will be in the former Old Eagle Tavern building at 177 Markle St.

A Florida craft beer bar chain is entering the Philadelphia market with a location in Manayunk. Tampa-based brand The Brass Tap plans to open at 177 Markle St. in late 2023 or early 2024.

As owner of Brass Tap Craft Beer Bars in Frisco, Cross Roads, Prosper and Allen, his locations have earned the distinction of having served over 1.1 million customers in North Texas over the years.
