With snowfall far below average and record-breaking heat, the High Country could feel like early summer by Friday.

Officials advised drivers to check weather and road conditions before traveling this weekend.

A second storm system will bring rain, snow and extreme wind to Arizona on Wednesday, following a Tuesday cold front that dropped 1.3 inches of snow in Flagstaff.

A recent system brought some moisture to the area, only to be overtaken again by unseasonably warm, dry stretches of weather.

Dry weather is expected this weekend, with highs in the 80s in Phoenix.
