Pixel Watch 1 and 2 owners will have to wait to update to Wear OS 5 to avoid the possibility of turning their watch into an expensive friendship bracelet.

In late September, reports of soft bricked Pixel Watch 1 and Pixel Watch 2 devices started popping up following the September update to Wear OS 5. This week, Google has acknowledged the issue and confirmed that the update has been pulled until the problem is resolved.

The Pixel Watch 3 is powered by Qualcomm's W5 Gen 1 chip with a Cortex-M33 coprocessor, a significant upgrade over the original Pixel Watch's Exynos 9110 SoC. This newer processor, which already performs admirably, will certainly help with future software updates, ensuring a snappy and reliable performance.

Additionally, the Pixel 9 Pro Fold has Wi-Fi 7 and dual-frequency GPS, whereas the Z Fold 6 has Wi-Fi 6E and single-frequency GPS. You also get NFC, Bluetooth 5.3, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, and UWB support on these devices.

Google Pixel 9 Pro is launched in India at Rs 1,09,999 for the 16GB + 256GB option. Google has announced that pre-orders for the Pixel 9 Pro will start on October 17 via Flipkart. In terms of colours, the smartphone comes in Hazel, Porcelain, Rose Quartz, and Obsidian colour variants, just like Pixel 9 Pro XL variant.
