AC Milan hasn’t achieved much this season — except when playing city rival Inter Milan. Milan ruined Inter’s bid for a treble and advanced to the Italian Cup final with a 3-0 derby win Wednesday courtesy of two goals from Luka Jovic.

While their Serie A form has left much to be desired since their European campaign ended, the Coppa Italia has offered occasional reprieve. A week after the loss to Dinamo, Milan bounced back with an emphatic 3-1 quarterfinal win over AS Roma, led by a brace from ex-England striker Tammy Abraham.

Inter Milan saw their ambition of finishing this season with a Treble end on Wednesday night, after they lost to AC Milan in the Coppa Italia semi-final second leg. The first leg of the tie had ended in a 1-1 draw.
