Following their NBA Cup battle with the New York Knicks Tuesday, the Philadelphia 76ers already find themselves back in action. They're back on their home floor to host Donovan Mitchell and the undefeated Cleveland Cavaliers.

After signing a three-year, $192 million extension, 76ers’ Joel Embiid made his 2024-25 debut against the Knicks. He finished with 13 points, five assists, and three rebounds in the 111-99 loss. After the game, Embiid talked about his mediocre performance.

The Sixers will also be without Andre Drummond (illness) and Tyrese Maxey, who will miss yet another game for a strained hamstring.
