John Harbaugh, recently fired by the Baltimore Ravens, figures to be high on Giants' head coach wish list this offseason.

Against the Packers, the Giants took the lead 20-19 on a 15-play drive only to watch their well-rested defense go out there and give up a seven-play touchdown drive to Green Bay and a two-point conversion. In overtime against the Lions, the Giants gave up a 69-yard touchdown run to Jamyr Gibbs on the first play.

They are also in the process of setting up meetings with former Giants captain and ex- Raiders coach Antonio Pierce, current Seahawks offensive coordinator Klint Kubiak, former Falcons coach Raheem Morris and former Super Bowl-winning coach Mike McCarthy within the next week or so.

The New York Giants should prioritize John Harbaugh as their next head coach to stabilize the franchise and develop their young core.

Green would be easy to retain as he is an exclusive rights free agent (ERFA) and they have first dibs on his services. They can offer him a one-year tender or a deal even longer if they wish. The Giants need useful players, and Green is an above-average special teams player who can add depth to their wafer-thin cornerback room.
