Nintendo Switch 2 is behind us. Nintendo ha announced over 50 games which are coming to the newest platform. Many of them will be available on day one.
Final Fantasy 7 Remake and Cyberpunk 2077 will be available from day one, June 5, as Switch 2 launch games. Indie developers are also getting involved: Hades 2, Silksong, and Deltarune chapters 3 and 4 will be coming to Switch 2, among many others.
Nintendo also announced a new Switch 2 Pro controller with its own C button and programmable GR/GL buttons on the back of the controller. The new Pro controller will also have an audio jack. Nintendo introduced a brand new feature called GameShare. GameShare will allow users to play the same game together locally on multiple Switch devices.
After months of anticipation and years of speculation, Nintendo is finally spilling all the beans about the Switch 2. In a Nintendo Direct presentation, the company is filling in questions we've had about the console since it was first officially revealed in a short teaser this past January.
The LCD screen has a 1080p resolution and supports HDR and up to a 120fps refresh rate (with variable refresh rate). The Joy-Con controllers are bigger, too, and as hinted at, they can be used similarly to a mouse.
Sorry for those who hoped for a $400 handheld, but at least the Nintendo Switch 2 includes mouse control JoyCons.
