Two people were shot and injured by federal agents Thursday in Portland, Ore., according to authorities. Portland police said they responded to a call of shooting and found a man and a woman with gunshot wounds. Both are in the hospital and their conditions aren’t known, police said.

Authorities said Federal agents were involved in the shooting of a husband and wife in Portland outside an ICE facility.

Portland Police said in a statement that their officers were not involved in the incident, and were called after receiving reports that a man had been shot.
