Thomas Tuchel is set to add Chelsea goalkeeping coach Hilario to his backroom staff when starting work as England's new permanent manager on January 1, sources have told ESPN.

Thomas Tuchel has been given a boost before officially starting as England manager after Henrique Hilario handed in his resignation at Chelsea to become his goalkeeping coach. Hilario has decided to leave Chelsea to work with Tuchel at England after the club made it clear that they did not want him to job-share with England.

The number of people who have been at Chelsea Football Club longer than this here blog has existed has decreased by one this week. There can’t be too many left at this point. It’s not yet official, but it pretty much is.
