WASHINGTON (AP) — President Donald Trump has made hardline immigration policies a signature issue, but acknowledged on Wednesday that he’s been criticized for recently saying some skilled immigrants should be allowed into the country from his “Make America Great Again” supporters.
Overall, Trump’s approval rating among all adults hit the lowest of his second term in the latest Reuters/Ipsos poll
The proposed changes include the elimination of the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service’s “blanket rule” that automatically protects animals and plants when they are classified as threatened.
Historic preservationist groups asked for a preliminary injunction to stop the government from making any changes to the building without undergoing a standard review process.
