A cold weather warning is coming into force, with warnings of snow and ice as temperatures plummet. Widespread cold conditions and some wintry hazards are expected across the country this week. The UK Health Security Agency has issued a cold weather warning for parts of the Midlands and northern England from Monday.
Maps show a 521-mile stretch of snow from John O’ Groats to Stoke-on-Trent. At 6am, large parts of England will see rainfall with snowfall mainly sticking to Scotland. By 12 noon, the maps show that patches of snow could be seen in other parts of England.
