Jamie Purchase, an electrician from Scunthorpe, shared how he created a playhouse for his four kids using old wood pallets. He says a similar playhouse in wood can cost over £1,000.

So instead they managed to get some wooden pallets from a local farm for £45 just before lockdown and they cut them up and rebuilt them to create a seating area and playhouse for their garden.

The adventure doesn’t start with the actual transformation of the wood pallet, but rather finding one to transform.
