The Arizona Cardinals announced Thursday that linebacker JJ Russell has been released from the hospital after being evaluated for a head and neck injury suffered at practice.

Russell collided with rookie safety Kitan Crawford, helmets colliding, and went down hard. He did not get up. He was put on a board and carted to the locker room. He was taken to the hospital to be evaluated for head and neck injuries.
