After superstar pass-rusher Aidan Hutchinson went down for the season, the Lions had a gaping hole on their otherwise Super Bowl-caliber roster. Detroit legitimately had everything except for a difference-maker off the defensive edge, a place that some of the other NFC powers (and the AFC’s heavyweights) could probably exploit in the postseason.

The Dallas Cowboys aren’t yet out of it, but they certainly need a doctor to report to the facility as soon as possible. Sitting at 3-5, the Cowboys are missing a ton of star power which in all honestly wasn’t helping them much when they were a more healthy team.

It’s not the same splash the Cowboys made a few years ago when they acquired Amari Cooper before the trade deadline, but Dallas did make a move for a WR. Can confirm that Cowboys have acquired Jonathan Mingo & a 7th round pick from Carolina in exchange for a 4th.
