The Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) reported that the city's 24-hour average AQI was recorded at 303 by 4 pm on Wednesday, November 27, making it the cleanest day of the month for the city.

Delhi's average Air Quality Index (AQI) on Wednesday witnessed a marginal improvement of 46 points, however it remained in the 'very poor' category.

Delhi News Live Updates: The air quality in Delhi continued in “very poor” category with Air Quality Index at 301 at 9 am on Tuesday. There has been a marginal improvement in the air quality as the AQI dropped from 392, recorded on Monday, to 301. Mundka recorded the worst air quality with AQI of 352 followed by Bawana at 341.

At 6 am, the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) recorded an AQI of Anand Vihar at 316, Ashok Vihar at 316, Bawana at 343, and Jahangirpuri at 330.

By 11pm, the average AQI in Delhi was 304, but at least 15 ambient air quality monitoring stations had entered the “poor” zone.

The AQI in Delhi has reached 394, placing it in the very poor category. Contributing factors include stagnant winds and low temperatures, leading to a hazardous air quality level that has prompted stricter pollution control measures.

People of Delhi on Sunday heaved a sigh of relief as the average Air Quality Index (AQI) witnessed a notable drop by 94 points but still remaining in 'very poor' category.

On Sunday, as per the 4 pm bulletin by the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), the Air Quality Index (AQI) was recorded at 318 in the lower end of the ‘very poor’ category. At 6 am, the air quality was 370.
