The newest ship in the Disney Cruise Line fleet, the Disney Treasure, is setting sail this December — and we were some of first on board.

The latest edition to the Walt Disney Company’s growing fleet of cruise ships – the Disney Treasure – made its official entrance this week.

There are 1,256 cabins and suites aboard Disney Treasure, ranging from windowless interior staterooms to balcony rooms and a two-storey Tomorrow Tower suite in the ship’s faux funnel that sleeps eight guests. It features almost 2,000 square feet of living space including a full kitchen and private lift.

As with the Disney Wish, the atrium of the new Disney Treasure cruise ship is considered a “Grand Hall.” While the Wish took inspiration from “Cinderella,” the Treasure has a Grand Hall inspired by the palace of Agrabah from “Aladdin.

Disney Cruise Line has welcomed its latest ship, the Disney Treasure, in New York Harbor. It was christened on Tuesday with a special drone show. The Disney Treasure will be the newest ship to arrive in Port Canaveral. It is the second of three Triton class vessels and sixth in the company’s fleet.
