Police later reported that the 27-year-old driver who struck the tanker was taken into custody. During police questioning he told detectives he wanted to kill himself and purposely drove into the tanker,

GLENDALE, Ariz — First responders are on scene at a fiery crash in Glendale Wednesday morning. Glendale police are working to learn more about the incident, but told 12News that a large tanker vehicle was involved in a crash with other passenger vehicles.

One person is in custody after police say a tanker truck hauling oxygen was involved in a fiery crash with two other vehicles near 57th Avenue and Camelback Road.
