Ja Morant, Jaren Jackson Jr. and Santi Aldama's helped Memphis keeping its good streak alive. The Grizzlies defeated the Pelicans 120-109. The Grizzlies (13-7) have won five consecutive games. Each of the last four have been by double figures. Morant led the Grizzlies with 27 points.

With a 120-109 victory over the New Orleans Pelicans at FedExForum on Friday, the Memphis Grizzlies extended their winning streak to five games, the team’s longest since March 2023.  It was their first-ever win in the Emirates NBA Cup after a previous record of 0-6.

In their final game of NBA Cup group play, the Pelicans played a competitive game against the Memphis Grizzlies. They stayed within striking distance until late in the fourth quarter. But the end result — a 120-109 loss to Memphis at FedEx Forum — was the same as the previous six games the Pelicans have played.
