The long-duration lake-effect snow event along the Great Lakes is entering its fourth day. Nearly 6 feet of snow has already accumulated, and the storm is expected to continue into Tuesday, potentially bringing total snowfall to over 7 feet. Cleanup work is nearing an end around parts of the Great Lakes region socked by lake-effect snowstorm that dropped more than a foot of snow over the weekend

Post-Thanksgiving travel will be treacherous in parts of the Great Lakes region on Monday with more lake-effect snow falling after the region was already buried under feet of it, while cold temperatures remain across a large swath of the United States.
