The IPL 2025 mega auction will be held on November 24 and 25 in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. It is being held overseas for the second successive year - 2024 was in Dubai - and will clash with the third and fourth days of the first Test between India and Australia in Perth.

The 2025 Indian Premier League (IPL) auction will take place from November 24 to 25 in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. A total of 1,574 players have registered, including 409 overseas players. However, not every registered player will be part of the auction or go under the hammer as the 10 teams aim to buy a total of 204 players,

Among the capped players, 48 are from India. Moreover, 965 uncapped players of the country will also be part of the auction.

The IPL 2025 mega auction in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, on November 24-25, coincides with India's Test match against Australia. Franchises had until October 31 to finalize retentions, with Sunrisers Hyderabad's Heinrich Klaasen topping at INR 23 crore.

The IPL auction list list includes 320 capped players, 1,224 uncapped players, and 30 players from Associate Nations.
