Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang sold 75,000 shares on Friday, valued at approximately $12.94 million, according to a new SEC filing. The sale comes as part of a plan adopted in March for Huang to sell up to 6 million shares of the leading artificial intelligence company.

Unknown to the general public just three years ago, Jensen Huang is now one of the most powerful entrepreneurs in the world as head of chip giant Nvidia. The unassuming 62-year-old draws stadium crowds of more than 10,000 people as his company's products push the boundaries of artificial intelligence.

Jensen Huang pulled off something of a political miracle this week for Nvidia shareholders. As the U.S. and China continue to growl at one another over tariffs and other elements of the trade war between the two countries and the race to attain AI superiority, Huang convinced Donald Trump to lift the ban on select AI chip sales to China.
