The Met Office has issued a 'danger to life' warning as the UK prepares for heavy rain, flooding and travel disruption as Storm Bert continues to wreak havoc

A number of weather warnings are in place today, with the Met Office predicting flooding and strong wind gusts. A "multi-hazard event" caused chaos and travel disruption yesterday.

The Met Office is warning people that National Severe Weather Warnings are still in place across the UK as Storm Bert brings high winds and heavy rains across the UK. At least three people have died across the UK during the severe weather, with two car crashes and one car crushed by a tree.
