Fatal shooting in Minneapolis leaves one dead on Thanksgiving
MINNEAPOLIS — A 21-year-old man was fatally shot inside an apartment on Thanksgiving, according to Minneapolis police. The shooting happened a little after 6 p.m. on the 700 Block of Emerson Avenue North. Police responded to the scene where the found a man with life-threatening injuries.

MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. – Police are investigating a fatal Thanksgiving shooting in Minneapolis. Officers were called to the 700 block of Emerson Avenue N around 6:05 pm Thursday and say they discovered a man with life-threatening injuries. The man was taken to Hennepin Healthcare Hospital where he later died.

A man died Thursday night after he was shot inside a Minneapolis apartment. Police responded shortly after 6 p.m. to the report of a shooting at an apartment in the 700 block of Emerson Avenue N., near the border of the city’s Sumner-Glenwood and Near North neighborhoods.
