There’s still plenty of uncertainty about the mysterious Galaxy S25 Slim and its release, but it appears the device believed to be the S25 Slim is still being tested out, as evidenced by a discovery made in an unreleased version of Samsung’s One UI 7 software.

Samsung may adopt silicon-carbon battery technology for its phones in 2026, meaning the Galaxy S26 series could get the battery life boost that the Galaxy S25 will not.

A Samsung Galaxy S25 'Slim' would be refreshing, although it'll likely come later as Apple prepares its iPhone 17 Air launch.
