In a recent incident that triggered panic, astronauts aboard the International Space Station (ISS), commanded by Sunita Williams, took swift safety measures on November 23 after Russian cosmonauts reported an unusual toxic odor while opening the Progress MS-29 cargo spacecraft.

The space station's current crew includes Roscosmos' Aleksandr Gorbunov, Ivan Vagner and Alexey Ovchinin, and Nasa's Pettit, Nick Hague, as well as Sunita Williams and Butch Wilmore.
