Sales of the Porsche Taycan have lost much of their early sparkle due to myriad issues—many having nothing to do with Porsche—despite the model's recent facelift. Global Taycan sales are down 50 percent year over year.

The Porsche Taycan EV adds three trims to its lineup for the 2025 model year: an AWD Taycan 4 sedan and two flavors of the performance-oriented GTS, a standard sedan and a Sport Turismo wagon.

The Porsche Taycan lineup is expanding yet again, this time with two returning GTS options and a new sedan variant of an existing Cross Turismo model. With these additions, Taycan buyers now have a full baker's dozen of 13 body/trim options to choose from.

The Taycan's range adds a new all-wheel-drive Taycan 4 along with sedan and Sport Turismo versions of the new 690-hp Taycan GTS.

The new Taycan GTS boasts up to 515 kW (690 hp) of overboost power using Launch Control, which is 75 kW more than its predecessor. A push-to-pass function within the Sport Chrono package allows for an additional boost of up to 70 kW,

The 2025 Porsche Taycan GTS has arrived, bringing more power and keeping the beloved Sport Turismo wagon variant. With an additional 100 horsepower compared to its predecessor, this year’s GTS aims to bridge the gap between power and practicality while still providing an exciting driving experience at a more attainable price point than the Taycan Turbo GT.
